John Nelson conducts Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis in the Cathédrale Notre-Dame
John Nelson will conduct three special performances of Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis in the famous Cathédrale Notre-Dame (Paris) on 27 and 28 November, and at Victoria Hall (Geneva) on 3 December. He will be joined by an impressive selection of musical groups, consisting of the Maîtrise Notre-Dame de Paris; Chœur d’adultes, Laudate Deum Chamber Choir, Chœur du COGE and the Nexus Orchestra. In addition, soloists Aga Mikolaj (soprano), Eva Zaïcik (mezzo-soprano), Daniel Behle (tenor), Bertrand Grunenwald (bass) will take part in the concerts. The concert in Geneva is to aid the MEDAIR organisation, which strives to help victims of natural disasters and armed conflicts.
