Laurence Equilbey will conduct the 200th anniversary concert of Niels Gade

Laurence Equilbey will conduct the Danish National Symphony Orchestra and Choir on Thursday 23 February for the 200th anniversary concert of Niels Gade at the Danish Radio Concert Hall in Copenhagen (DR Koncerhuset). The programme includes two masterpieces from Denmark’s most prominent composer, Comala and The Echoes of Ossian. The concert will be broadcast live on Danish Radio, and released later on this year as an audio recording by the label Da Capo. It will also be televised on the Danish cultural TV channel DR-K.
