John Nelson triumphs at the Gramophone Awards 2018
Congratulations to conductor John Nelson on his double triumph at the prestigious Gramophone Awards 2018!
His critically acclaimed Warner Classics & Erato recording of Berlioz’s epic opera Les Troyens, featuring a star-studded cast which includes Joyce DiDonato, Marie-Nicole Lemieux and Michael Spyres, was crowned “Recording of the Year”, as well as winning the Opera category.

On a similar note, the recording was also crowned Opera Recording of the Year (19th Century) by the Opus Klassik Award in Germany!
