Biography
Stephen Wright (formerly Managing Director of Harold Holt and Founding Managing Director of IMG Artists Europe) has enjoyed an illustrious career of more than forty-five years, during which time he personally managed the careers of Semyon Bychkov, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Mariss Jansons, Sir Neville Marriner, Seiji Ozawa, Yevgeny Svetlanov, and Yuri Temirkanov, amongst others. Stephen has also acted as an advisory consultant to such institutions as Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Oslo Philharmonic, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, and Tonhalle Zürich. Internationally recognised for reassessing business models and developing new media avenues, Stephen also set up the BBC Legends CD label, and produced a number of television documentaries such as the celebrated Art of Conducting, as well as filmed portraits of Ferenc Fricsay, Yevgeny Mravinsky, and Arturo Toscanini.
