Danny Evans

Consultant: Artists

Biography

Danny began his musical life a pianist, studying at the Yehudi Menuhin School and Royal Academy of Music, and subsequently pursuing a degree in Law.

His first job in the music industry was at Universal Music, before working for Columbia Artists (CAMI Music) in New York (2011-2018).  During his time at CAMI, Danny was privileged to work with many famous musicians – including Lang Lang, Jessye Norman, and Ray Chen – and represented the Lord of the Rings ‘live with orchestra’ franchise. Danny was privileged to be mentored personally by the late Ronald Wilford until his death in 2015.

In 2018, Danny left CAMI Music in order to co-found Enote: a pioneering technology company developing artificial intelligence for music.

Following a three-year sabbatical from working life due to a long (but ultimately successful!) battle with Bipolar Disorder (manic-depression), Danny now enjoys a varied working portfolio as consultant to various organisations in the classical music and luxury goods sphere – including with his colleagues at Enote, and his role as part of the team at Knight Classical.

Alongside his professional interests and passion for the piano, love of fine tailoring, and trips to the zoo with his fiancée Alexandra Knight, Danny dedicates a great deal of time to campaigning for increased awareness and support for those suffering from mental illness.  To that end, he is frequently engaged as a public speaker, and is also an ambassador for the charity Bipolar UK.
