Digital Media

See Our Work

Knight Classical develops digital media to support artistic projects and institutional communication across online and professional contexts. Our work – in this case centred on still-image, design-led, and editorial content – focuses on the development of considered visual and written materials that articulate artistic ideas clearly, consistently, and with care.

Photography

Knight Classical produces high-quality photography for artistic, editorial, and institutional use. This includes artist portraiture, rehearsal and performance documentation, production photography, and imagery created for press, publication, and long-term archival purposes. Images are created for adaptability across formats and uses, from institutional communication to digital publication.

Visual identity and graphic design

We develop visual identities and graphic materials for artists, projects, organisations, and cultural initiatives. This may include visual language, typographic systems, colour palettes, and design frameworks that support clarity, recognition, and consistency across materials and contexts. Design work is shaped in response to artistic values and context, allowing projects to feel coherent and distinctive.

Editorial writing and artist biographies

Knight Classical produces written content in support of artistic communication – including editorial copy, project texts, and artist biographies – developed in close collaboration with artists and institutions. Biography writing and editorial copy are approached as acts of framing and interpretation, designed to articulate artistic identity and project narratives with clarity and precision. Writing may be created for digital platforms, institutional use, press materials, publications, and long-term reference.

Integration with the Creative Studio

Digital media is often developed in coordination with other elements of the Creative Studio, allowing visual and written content to align with live performance, recording projects, film, and digital storytelling where appropriate. This integrated approach ensures coherence across outputs, facilitates long-term documentation and reuse, and allows projects to extend beyond a single moment or platform.

Who we work with

Knight Classical works both with artists represented by the company and independently with external artists, ensembles, and arts organisations. Projects may be commissioned on a standalone basis or developed as part of wider Creative Studio activities, depending on scope and requirements.

How we work

Digital media work at Knight Classical is developed in close dialogue with artists and institutions and in relation to the wider creative context of each project.

Our approach is guided by the following principles:

  • Dialogue – materials are developed in close conversation with artists and institutions, ensuring clarity of intent, tone, and context.
  • Durability – visual and written materials are conceived for longevity and adaptability across platforms and formats.
  • Integration – digital media is developed alongside live performance, recording, or film projects where appropriate.
  • Consistency – materials are created with careful authorship and continuity across projects and platforms over time.

The resulting digital materials communicate artistic work with clarity, coherence, and longevity.
