Moné Hattori & Yomiuri Nippon Symphony tour Japan
Young violinist Moné Hattori tours Japan with the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra in April/May 2017. Performing Shostakovich Violin Concerto No. 1 and Ernst’s virtuosic variations on The Last Rose of Summer, Hattori will play in Sendai (25 April), Morioka (26 April), Kanagawa (29 April), and Saitama (30 April), finishing with two concerts in Tokyo at the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall (1 & 2 May). The orchestra is conducted by Neil Thompson, and also features pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii performing works by Chopin.
