Les Vents Français

August 29, 2014

We are delighted to work with ‘Les Vents Français’ – the wind-quintet equivalent of a supergroup – presenting the ensemble in concert on 9 September 2014 at the prestigious Musikfest Bremen.

One of the finest woodwind ensembles ever established, each member of Les Vents Français is a star soloist in their own right: Emmanuel Pahud (flute), François Leleux (oboe), Paul Meyer (clarinet), Radovan Vlatković (horn) and Gilbert Audin (bassoon).

They will be joined in Bremen by the outstanding Éric Le Sage, the group’s regular guest pianist. Capturing the spirit of French music and introducing woodwind masterpieces to wider audiences, Les Vents Français will perform a programme of Caplet, Dring, Rimsky-Korsakov, Poulenc, Milhaud and Thuille.
