Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra

August 13, 2015

One of the world’s oldest orchestras (dating back to 1765!), we are delighted to present the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra on tour in London and Dublin. On 27 August 2015, the orchestra appears at the prestigious BBC Proms, with conductor Andrew Litton leading an exciting programme that includes the world premiere of a new work by Alissa Firsova, the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with celebrated violinist Alina Ibragimova, and concludes with Stravinsky’s Le sacre du Printemps. On 28 August, Litton, Ibragimova and the Bergen Philharmonic then perform at the National Concert Hall, Dublin, in a programme of Svendsen, Mendelssohn and Stravinsky.
