Salary
- Commensurate with experience.
- 25 days of paid annual leave, in addition to public holidays and office closure over the Christmas period.

Description of the Position
Knight Classical is a creative classical music agency spanning Artist Management, Project Creation & Event Production, and the provision of Digital Media & Marketing services. This Artist Manager role is one of several new positions opening in this dynamic organisation over the coming months.
You will be managing the careers of a roster of excellent international conductors and solo instrumentalists, as well as contributing to the expansion of the Artist Management roster. We are looking for a confident, energetic, creative thinker, with excellent interpersonal skills, and a positive and proactive approach to work. The position is ideally suited to someone with prior experience in the artist management sector.
Role & Responsibilities
- Management and development of a General Management artist list comprising conductors and solo instrumentalists.
- Close involvement in talent scouting, departmental strategy, and new artist acquisition.
- Proactively contacting venues and organisations to secure performance opportunities for artists.
- Creating and implementing individual artist strategies.
- Negotiating and finalising contracts with presenters.
- Establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships with key industry contacts.
- Collaboration within a close-knit and multi-disciplinary team.
- National and international travel to concerts, conferences, and business meetings, as required.
Experience
- Experience within the field of artist management, and/or the wider classical music industry.
- Experience of establishing and maintaining a network of professional contacts.
- An understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) is essential; prior experience with the agency software Overture is desirable.
Person Specification
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Knowledge of classical music and the classical music industry.
- Excellent organisational, administrative, interpersonal, and communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to prioritise and multi-task.
- Self-motivated and curious, with a positive attitude and willingness to think and work creatively, both independently and collaboratively, as part of a tight-knit team.
- Willingness to adapt, act, and react creatively to the demands of a fast-changing and challenging marketplace.
- Excellent command of the English language (both spoken and written), and a professional, confident demeanour.
- Willingness to travel.
